A dog was discovered on the street. Her owner was in a bad situation and ended up on the street. He no longer had the ability to care for a pet, and the dog became a stray. But fortune shined on the puppy, and she was seen by a woman in the San Francisco city shelter where she was sent after being kidnapped.
She is the owner of two guinea pigs. The woman was concerned about how the dog would react to them after bringing the dog home. She didn’t want her new pet to scare or even bite her guinea pigs. But her suspicions were unfounded; all three liked each other from the first minute.
The dog first sniffed the guinea pigs through the cage bars, then got to know them better when the woman held them on her lap. For months, the owner would place the guinea pigs on the couch.
When the woman understood there was nothing to be afraid of, she let the rodents go on the floor — and half an hour later, she discovered the guinea pigs relaxing in the arms of the dog.
The rescued canine and her two new mates have been inseparable since then. They sleep together on the dog’s mattress, and she delicately licks their fur at night. «They’re such a great combination, and they’re so cute together,» the woman remarks. «They complement each other perfectly.»
