A Baltimore football player named Scott had plans to acquire a particular dog. Scott visited the shelter with his girlfriend Emily.
According to Scott, he was looking for a dog that had been there for a while and had a trait that kept him from wanting to adopt it.
The fact that there were so many canines waiting to find new homes made all the shelter staff incredibly happy.
They ultimately decided on July, an old dog. He was not distracted from picking such a dog by his appearance since he was more worried about receiving hugs from July than he was about his tummy.
July was called Lilly by Scott. She enjoys playing in his garden and taking naps on her parents’ comfortable bed.
Scott appreciates Lilly being introduced to him by the Shelter personnel. Additionally, he contributed about $5,000 to the Shelter’s fundraising effort.
Fortunately, Lilly was adopted after a challenging early life. She came to a lovely house with gracious people who showed her their love and warmth.
Unquestionably, adopting dogs is a highly admirable and touching act.
