Meryl, a three-year-old pit bull, and Tako, an eight-year-old pit bull, met at a shelter. They were both escorted there by their owners… Our heroes were inseparable from the moment they first met one other.
They can’t be apart for more than a few minutes because they instantly start crying and whining.
As a result, they reside in the same enclosure and always sleep in an embrace in the shelter.
A guy arrived at the shelter a few months ago. He was seeking a good companion, and when he met gorgeous Meryl, he fell in love with her right away. He had completed all of the paperwork and was ready to welcome her.
Tako and Meryl both began to whimper as they were led out of the enclosure.
They exchanged very sorrowful glances. Meryl stood firm with all four paws, refusing to move.
Seeing such intense affection, the man decided that he would either take two dogs at once or not take one at all. Fortunately, he went with the first choice. Tako and Meryl shared a residence and a common owner.
