These two interactions are entirely different from the stereotypes of dogs following squirrels or squirrels making fun of dogs that we were all raised with.
Instead of being competition, these guys are closest buddies. When it first encountered the dog, their relationship was formally established.
A remarkable bond exists between Stevie the squirrel and his best friend when they cuddle. Dogs and squirrels end up being best friends after all, and they are inseparable.
But Cali, the dog in question, is unique. She enjoys cuddling with a squirrel named Stevie, and the two of them are even close.
Cali and Stevie grew close and had a wonderful bond. Together, they play, take naps, and snuggle. Together, they demonstrate how friendships may take many different forms.
This is a good example that friendship exists between different species and it does not matter if they are in different shapes or sizes, they will still be best friends.
