Lay the ginger cat, who was left by his beloved owners, has new owners and a new greatest friend in humans!
He became his guardian and lifelong best buddy when he met Adam, his little human, at his new home.
When a friend’s vet had to let out 2-year-old Lay for getting into their supply cupboard, Adam’s mother remarked, ‘I had always wanted a cat, so I had no hesitation in adopting him.’
‘He was just as great as everybody had always said orange cats were,’ I said.
Lay fell in love the moment Adam arrived home. Lay was frequently to thank for Adam’s initial giggles and smiles.
Adam’s first word, at the age of nine months, was ‘Layo.’ Lay rushes to Adam’s side as he comforts him.
As he walks from room to room, Adam makes sure Lay is with him. Lay is more tolerant than I ever thought a cat could be.
