After six months of searching, a lost Texas dog has been reunited with his family. On Oct. 17, 2021, Chan’s owner found out he went missing. They put flyers throughout their community and shared them on social media right away.
They searched for him for the following few months, but to no effect. The owners never gave up, even though they were never able to reunite with their cherished furry family members. The shelter received a call about three dogs that had been running on someone’s property for some time.
Next day, one of their offices went to find them. The owners eventually got one of the dogs, but he was without his microchip. They gave this adorable puppy the name Kendo and took him to their neighborhood veterinarian.
Thankfully, some good Samaritans still keep track of lost animals and were able to figure out that Kendo was in fact Chan!
Group was able to contact Chan’s owners, who right away met the dog and established it was actually Chan.
Chan went towards his father, tail wagging, as soon as he arrived.
