His family never gave up hope and never stopped up looking for him. They were frequently on the lookout for lost dogs in classified advertising. Then, out of nowhere, representatives from an animal control group phoned the owners to inform them that their dog had been located.
The dog was taken in as a stray, and by scanning his microchip, it was possible to locate the owners.
