A doggy has a rare litter of 14 puppies: It’s incredible. It’s wonderful. Few things are cuter than a newborn small puppy, so it’s always exciting when a dog has a litter of puppies.

The number of puppies that may have been born—a record—stunned the dog’s owner when a French bulldog recently gave birth to a litter.
Although the dog’s owner noticed that the dog was larger than the average pregnant dog as she approached delivery, he or she did not expect anything out of the ordinary to happen.

Given that French Bulldogs typically only have three puppies at a time on average, and that having seven puppies is incredibly uncommon, having six or seven puppies would have been a surprise in and of itself.
Everyone was amazed when this bulldog mother gave birth to 14 puppies!

The owner believes that his dog’s newborn litter must ‘be a record in the United States.’
All 14 puppies will eventually be adopted. While most dogs only have a few puppies at a time, there are rare cases in which canines have more than a dozen puppies at the same time.
