On Friday nights, just before sunset, the raffic on the streets is replaced by an indisputably more pleasant sound — the sound of doggies. Currently, a canine train, similar to accuracy, travels the roads to illuminate the lives of its fuzzy passengers.
A Florida couple who own an animal shelter decided to be creative. `We had so many dogs, obviously we couldn’t walk them all or put them in the van for an adventure,’ the lady explains. ‘So my better half built a train so we could take them out and cruise around.
‘ He pulls the train with a lawnmower, and I ride behind him on a little bike to keep an eye on things and make sure they’re safe. ‘ It’s impossible not to smile when you see the cheerful bundle.’ ‘They’re completely enthralled by it,’ she said.
‘They’re more aware of the fact that it’s Friday than we are.’ ‘ It’s amazing how well they know.’ But it’s not just the pups that look forward to their weekly excursions.
The couple has made full use of the train’s attention. They have no intention of promoting what they are doing but they are pleased that others are interested in viewing it.
